Recall of Parliament and confirmed dates, pre-JSB and JSB meeting
Speaker, Simon Pentanu is recalling the Bougainville House of Representatives to meet in Buka on Wednesday 21st August 2019.
This follows an advice from the Acting President, Raymond Masono confirming the dates for the Joint Supervisory Body meeting in Buin, South Bougainville and National Executive Council meeting in Buka.
The Speaker issued a Notice fixing Wednesday 21st August 2019 as the date for the next meeting of the House. The House will resume at 2.00 pm.
The Speaker said, the House is recalled purposely to receive the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Rt. Hon. James Marape’s address to the House in session on the date agreed to in consultation by both governments.
The National Executive Council will also meet in Buka on Thursday 22nd August 2019.
