2021 Siwai Tourism and Culture Show
The 2021 Siwai Tourism and Cultural Show was a colorful display of arts and crafts, culture and traditional performances.
The Show was truly a people-driven initiative under the Siwai Tourism Association, led by Peter Siunai, which they say, is part of their responsibility to support the government in its political and economic aspirations to be independence-ready.
National Ministers including the National Member for South Bougainville Timothy Masiu, National Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Hon. Henry Isi Leonard were present at the show.
The ABG delegation was led by President Hon. Ishmael Toroama, Member for Kopi Constituency and Minister for Technical Services Hon. Joseph Swuamaru, Member for Ramu Constituency and Minister for Community Government Hon. Thomas Pataaku, Member for Taonita Teop and Minister for Community Development Hon. Thompson Gitovea and senior ABG officials.
The Siwai Tourism Association is a registered entity under the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority.
People came from as far as Buka, Arawa, and Buin to be a part of the Show, which was held over two days at the Panakei Mini Township in Kopi Constituency, Siwai District.
