Announcement of Community Government election and Atolls By-Election dates
Bougainville Electoral Commissioner George Manu today officially announced the election schedules for the 2021 Community Government Elections and the Atolls By-Election.
The dates are as follows:
2021 Community Government Election
- Enrolment: 12 August 2021 to 17 October 2021
- Notice of nomination: 23 September 2021
- Nominations: 28 September to 02 October 2021
- Extended Nomination: 03 to 07 October 2021
- Notice of Polling: 04 October 2021
- Polling and Counting 18 October 2021
- Provisional Results: 20 October 2021
- Final Declarations: 18 December 2021
Atolls Constituency By-Election
- Enrolment: 12 to 23 August
- Issue of Writ: 23 August 2021
- Nominations: 23 to 29 August 2021
- Polling open: 18 October 2021
- Polling close: 20 October 2021
- Counting: 22 October 2021
- Return of Writ: 26 October 2021
