It is with great sadness to inform you all as Head of Bougainville Public the tragic passing of Late Mallinson Kipau, Provincial Finance Manager, under National Department of Treasury.
Late Mallinson Kipau lost his life in the early hours of Wednesday morning 23 December, 2020, in his village of Mamaromino, Baubake Constituency, Buin South Bougainville.
Late Mr Kipau was appointed as Provincial Finance Manager in 2013, and had ensured efficiency and transparency in the Treasury Office. He made sure due financial process were complied with and the integrity of the Treasury office was maintained. Although he was a national staff he had so much commitment and dedication to his work as a Bougainvillean.
It takes a humble and kind man in the caliber of Late Mallinson Kipau to withstand all challenges of his employment. His untimely death at this crucial time of Bougainville’s political journey would be greatly missed.
The Bougainville Public Service conveys its sincere condolences to his spouse Ms Angela Kipau, son Augustine Kipau, immediate relatives and people of Baubake Constituency.
A detail funeral program of Late Mallinson Kipau will be released when confirmed by family and relatives.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted”, (Mathew 5:4).
May his soul rests in eternal peace.
